Dillon Clyde Crandall
      Born November 11, 1946

Dillon Crandall died August 7, 2007 in Pittsburg, CA at the age of 60.(from Brain Cancer)
Native of Wichita, KS. He served in our country in the US Navy for 7 years. Dillon touches many lives with his wit and great sense of humor. He also loved to travel, he lived on both coast, Pacific and Atlantic as well as Europe and Asia.  He worked for MDS as service Manager in the early eighties, in London and then Hayward, Ca. He went on to work for Lockheed, he had the honor to work on the Hubbel Space Telescope which took him to Florida in the early nineties. He was transfered to Washington DC to work with the CIA on a top secret project. Virgina Beach is were Dillon purchased his new 34ft Searay which he live on for 2 years working in Virgina Beach. Dillon worked for Lockheed Martin for fifteen years until he wanted to come back to California.  EMC hired Dillon and transfer him back to California were he purchased a home in Pittsburg, CA  the back yard was the sell point.  There was a boat dock in the back yard.

Once Dillon returned back to California on the weekend he love to go hiking.  We purchased a 34ft RV and was trying to go camping every weekend. His favor place was Kennedy Meadow hiking up to Relief Reservoir. That is were is final burial place.

Of all the places that Dillon has lived Pittsburg was by far most the best place he had live. He love his friends and was content that he knew his neighbors.





Beloved Father Dillon M. Crandall deceased and loving Mother Dorothy Crandall Ford. Admired and loved Sister Marsha Cox and brother in-law Jerry Cox. Children Lance, Vince, Todd, Rod  Grandchildren Tyler, Rachel, Brandon, Janelle.  Dillon loved his brother Jim Crandall, Jim has two son Shawn, Jamie,.  Shawn's wife Deanne with nieces little Dillon and Carrolyn.

Dillon loved Shirley's family; son Phillip and wife Michelle Salaices and loving grandchildred.  Daniel, Gabriel and Manuel, They will miss their Grandpa.  Nancy is Shirley's sister and best friend she was part of our daily lived and many vacation he loved her. Monique Nancy's daughter, Dillon was like a father to Monique.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Thursday August 30th 2007 at 6:00 pm at Pittsburg Yacht club, 3 Marine Blvd on the water front gazebo. Following with dinner and drinks in Dillon honor.
